Scottsdale, AZ · Lighting & Finish Design
Most people can't explain it. We can — and we can fix it.
What We Do
We design lighting environments for privately curated collections, galleries, and architecturally significant spaces. Every fixture, color temperature, and beam angle serves the art — or makes the space itself the experience.
We thread modern LED systems, color washes, and precision architectural lighting into existing homes and estates — without disturbing a single thing that makes them irreplaceable. The result feels as though it was always meant to be there.
We complete what we start. From crown molding LED integration to door and window casings, every surface is finished at the same level of precision as the lighting itself. One team. One standard. Nothing left unresolved.

The Retrofit Difference
Historic homes and architecturally significant estates carry details that most contractors simply don't know how to work around — odd angles, irregular joinery, decades of layered craftsmanship. We have spent a career solving exactly those problems.
We retrofit existing spaces with precision LED systems, color wash architecture, and placement techniques that transform how a room feels — at every hour of the day — without touching what makes it irreplaceable.
You don't have to own art to live inside it. Sometimes the space itself is the collection.
Finish & Trim
Most lighting projects end at the fixture. Ours end when the room is complete. We patch, finish, and trim at the same level of precision as every other aspect of our work — because a perfectly placed light in a poorly finished ceiling is still a job half done.
Our finish work has become a specialty in its own right. We are regularly retained specifically for trim work in spaces where the architecture demands a level of craftsmanship that most contractors cannot deliver — pipes tucked behind casings, irregular corners in century-old plaster, crown molding that carries integrated LED channels without a seam in sight.
When you work with us, you engage one team with one standard. The lighting, the integration, the finish — all held to the same uncompromising level.
About Joseph
Joseph McClellan has spent 25 years mastering the one thing most lighting designers never learn — how light transforms a space from something you occupy into something you experience. He has lit privately curated art shows, high-value gallery installations, and some of the most extraordinary private residences in the Scottsdale Valley.
His reputation is built not on product specifications, but on the ability to see a space the way it wants to be seen — and the craftsmanship to make it so. From bulb selection to finish trim, every decision serves a single outcome: a room that feels exactly right.
